David Raudabaugh, CEO of IDBIOMETRICS states “IDBIOMETRICS is the leader in the design and manufacturer of facial recognition systems and software and we must continue to research and develop new products to stay ahead of our competition.  The relationship with SPSU has been positive.  The energetic staff and student body have been a pleasure to work with and our relationship has delivered early returns for our company.  We are excited to participate in the creation of the Facial Recognition Research Laboratory and continuing our work with Professor Chih-Cheng Hung, Ph.D.  Our goal is to work with students as they participate in research at the laboratory, as we become familiar with them and their work habits, we will provide some with flexible employment that can ultimately lead to full time positions with our company upon graduation.  This effort is good economics for our company and is one way we use to keep us informed and in front of changes in the facial recognition industry.”

Professor Hung stated, “What we learn in the lab, will shape product development and enhance the identification capabilities of business and government.  We will continue to recruit students and scientists to join this lab for research.”
